In Arxon, you drag a colored scarab along the edges of a grid filled with beetles of different colors. When you click your mouse, it pushes the scarab onto the board and moves all of the other beetles along that line or column one square. Arxon has three amusing game modes. In Adventure Mode, for instance, you are to create matches of three or more scarabs of the same color in a preset time. The gameplay is the same in Endless Mode except the time is not limited. In Logic Mode, you should match the colored beetles to a pattern presented on the game board. Creating combos can bring you certain power-ups, such as the Destroyer Bug. It wipes out all the scarabs on the board of the same color as the one you hit with. Steeped in challenge and rich with Egyptian atmosphere, Arxon is a perfect diversion for casual gamers!
